It was our graduation a while ago and I was not excited at all. “Why are you not happy and excited for your graduation,” my dad asked. I don’t know what’s wrong with me!!!! Somebody help?! Anyway, can I just say that wearing a killer heels was really a wrong move!!!!!!111!!! What was I thinking? The whole program was a burden because of my heels. It was also a burden to see my friends graduate with flying colors. I was just stuck with a certificate. OK, STOP COMPARING YOURSELF. HAHAHAHAHA You and your self-esteem, yooooou!!!

Ok, time to be emotional. HAHA.

I will seriously miss my friends. My bestfriend the most, of course. We’ve know each other for like 8 years. She has been my seatmate and groupmate ever since we started high school. Whenever there’s a project to be done in pairs, she’s automatically my partner. No questions asked. To be honest, I am not ready to face the fact that we’ll not see each other everyday. I might as well get used to it. :(

I will certainly miss UP. I will definitely miss the ‘freedom’. I will also miss the ikot and toki jeeps, the Sunken Garden, the Beach House, the street food, NIGS canteen, AS, the oblation run (oops?), the lantern parade, the random walks, the random talks, the pig-out sessions, Kuya Stephen’s siomai, etc., etc.

AND YES, DEAR DEPARTMENT, I WILL MISS YOU TOO EVEN THOUGH I REALLY DON’T LIKE YOU LELZ

I am so done with college!!!! YES!!!!

Anyway, I’ll start working on Tuesday. So freakin excited and nervous at the same time!

After bonding at Eastwood, we went back to Trinoma. The trip back was unbelievable!!! Uhm, we basically jammed to JoBros, Miley Cyrus, One Direction, Carly Jepsen, and Rebecca Black during the whole trip. See also: car windows were down. SO HARDCORE YOU GUYS. Perfect way to spend the summer! We actually have videos but I doubt that I’ll post them here. Too embarrassing, I swear! Kennyway, when we arrived at Trinoma, we went straight to the roof deck because we are cool like that. No, not really. We wanted to do something crazy like jumping off the building. HAHAHA NO. We just chilled there, blasted some All Time Low and The Summer Set songs, and pretended that we were in a concert… sort of.

When we got tired, we went to our office (the VIPinoy Lounge, lol) to have a ~serious meeting~ and of course to have free coffee. We talked about our little project, the Friday Night Prod. Details to be spilled next year or whenever…. haha.

This week was cray cray. The Maine were just here in Manila. Cheesus, can’t believe it was just last week. Marian, Keeshia, Kyle, Sarah, and I checked-in at Discovery Suites last Friday to celebrate Keeshia’s 3-day birthday celebration and to ugh, get a glimpse of The Maine from afar.

Still trying to have coherent thoughts.

Day 1. Friday. Keeshia’s birthday party. 36-inch pizza. Swimming. Savannah room for wifi connection. Voice competition between Keeshia and Jared. Matt and Larry went inside the Savannah and asked Keeshia for an extra cig. Matt told us stories about his stay with a Filipino family, his favorite Filipino food “Panchit bihown, adobow”, his band, how he hated the Balut, etc etc. Our talk went on from food to random bands then to John’s love life. TOO FUNNY, really. We were so chill that we had a feeling that they didn’t know that we are actually fans of The Maine and we know them.

Day 2. Saturday. Karpos Multimedia invited Stache Magazine to be part of The Maine’s press conference. Big thanks to Ma’am Steph! The Maine are all funny people. Really funny.

The concert was fun!!! We were really surprised that they played This is the End and The Way We Talk. Woah moment right there!

Day 3. Sunday. Too many funny moments while waiting for The Maine to come out of their rooms. HAHAHA. We were at the 18th floor, they were at the 16th. We ate the left over pizza outside our room while checking out the 16th floor. “Pat, do you want me to jump?” “The Maine, water please!!!!” All from Kyle.

Right now, I’m still trying to cure myself from PCD. BAD BAD PCD.

Ranyel and Joshua left HK for PH right after the ceremony while Rod, Mariah, and I explored HK (because ya know, we still had a day). We went to Disneyland. Too cliché, huh? HAHAHAHA. It was really an adventure. We rode a train from Causeway to Disneyland. It was a long but fun trip. Anyway, Disneyland is really for kids. I only enjoyed Space Mountain.

After the event, we went to The Peak to have dinner. The Peak was really beautiful. We met some Filipinos there and they wished us good luck.

Basically, that’s it for the second day.

We arrived in HK at around 11am, went straight to our hotel to check-in, and looked for a place to eat since we were really hungry. We were literally like tourists when we arrived in HK. We actually didn’t know where to eat! We ended up eating at McDonalds (btw their Mcdo > ours) since we were afraid of getting sick if we eat at some unknown restaurant. HAHAHAHA. Also, can I point out that it’s really cold in Hong Kong!

At around 4pm, we went to Excelsior for the workshop. During the workshop, we were introduced to the other finalists who are from Malaysia, Iran, Hong Kong, and India. We were also given some tips on how to defend our papers properly etc etc.

The workshop went on from 4-6pm. At 7, we had a cocktail dinner.

We left Excelsior at around 8pm to go back to our hotel because we were really drained. Jet lag!!! HAHAHA kidding.

Second day coming up next!

Here are my group mates! We were together thru thick and thin hahaha. About our wet look: We were ‘baptized’ in the ‘Jordan river’ by our teacher.

After visiting the churches and houses in the area, we visited some caves. One of them is the Cave of Judgement (Husgado). You literally have to fit yourself inside that cave. It was a challenge, man! They say that if you can get through the cave without having scars, you are definitely a good person. And if you have just a simple scar, well, you’re soul is already burning in hell. Just kidding. They say that you’re a sinful person.

Ok guys, I didn’t have scars. Thank God (but I don’t believe I am THAT good) HAHA. Actually, the cave was easy peasy for me, I don’t know why. I do believe I am a contortionist in another life.

After Husgado, we visited another cave (too bad, forgot the name) where we can wish then we went straight to Kalbaryo. It was a long and tiring walk. I really hate hiking. It’s really not my thing.

Later that night, we cornered our good friend to spill everything he wants to spill (WOO, VERY HOT ISSUE) but yeah, I gave up after few gulps of beer. I am not a beer person, ever (or gin, or wine, or any alcoholic beverage)

Can I just point out that I didn’t know that my bestfriend can drink 2 bottles of beer.

The next day, we went to Kinabuhayan, Quezon to visit the Cave of God Father. We rode the jeepney. Top load, everyone.

If there’s one thing that I’ve learned during our entire stay in Quezon, it’s that almost everyone is religious. They value religion, Jesus, and Jose Rizal too much. Some of them consider Rizal as their Kayumangging Kristo. Anyway, there are about 70 religions in Quezon. Too many, right? But do you know what amazed me the most? The fact that they don’t fight. They respect each other’s views and opinions. Something people can’t do here in Manila (or for the most parts of the Philippines).

At around two in the afternoon, we all went to Patar beach for our field work. We basically just observed the organisms at our working station (15-20m away from shore). It was actually my first time to be fifteen meters away from the shore (By just walking! Wow, what an achievement)! Confession time: I never liked the ocean. It scares the shit out of me. Anyway, it was high tide, I think, that’s why we can just walk. The deeper part of the ocean started a hundred meters away from the shore. Walking is the thing. No swimming though except if you were in the tide pool.

There were lots of sea grasses and seaweeds at our station. We also found some brittle stars. They were ugly but cute. Hehe.

See the waves at the back? That’s like 100 m away from the shore. The ‘deep’ part of the ocean started there.

After working, we went farther away from our stations – yep, to the waves. Bitches love waves hahaha.

We left Patar at around 4pm and went to a restaurant to eat halo halo! They were so good!

The next day, we toured the Bolinao Marine Lab. It was a cool place. They culture varieties of plankton, algae, etc etc. They even have nurseries for sea urchins, sea cucumbers, giant clams, sea weeds, and corals to name some. I got to hold some of them!

You can’t really hold a sea urchin because they ‘sting’ you but this one is an exception. It’s actually harmless.

Fun fact: Even though I don’t really enjoy the sea, I love learning things about the marine life. I do believe I’m a biology geek inside.

Never in my life did I imagine that I will get to see The Ready Set, Forever the Sickest Kids, A Rocket to the Moon, and The Summer Set perform live. NEVER!!!!!!! OK, JUST IN MY DREAMS!!!!!!!!!! Hahaha! So let’s start my LIVE5 story:

Last Thursday, Sarah, Kaira, and I went to Intercon to have breakfast at Jeepney… just kidding. (But the breakfast was part of the plan) We went there for ya know… some errands to run. And by errands we mean… the s word. Anywho, we basically had breakfast with the bands but too bad they didn’t know we were there (fangirl problems #355634643). After eating a 250+ pesos yogurt and a 200+ pesos hot chocolate (dude I seriously dont get why my friends have to pay that shitload of amount), we went back to the lobby to wait…… and wait…. and wait… (fangirl problems #1234904354). So after minutes (or hours) of waiting, we had the chance to meet Jordan, Austin, Jobe, and John! Yay, success!

We talked to John and Jobe for a few minutes. They were really cool. I asked John to say hi to my sister.

We went home by 1PM because we were told by Casper (lol), the friendly guard that they all left for soundcheck.

So the next day, Marian, Keeshia, Kyle, and I checked-in at Intercon. Yes, that’s how we roll (and that’s how stalkerish we were joke). At 4PM, we went to Glorietta to watch our first show.

After the ARTTM set, we all went back to the hotel to rest because we were all really tired (or not, we just want to see the other bands at the hotel hahaha jk). We were really tired. I even planned to sleep all night rather than you know because I was really tired. But then again, the point of checking in was to meet the bands so I opted not to sleep.

I met Jess and Evan that night!

Later that night at around 1AM, things got weird… really weird.

Anyway, the next day, Kyle finally met Halvo, the love of her life. Kyle’s probably the number one Halvo fan, ever! Damn son, she (just) gave him tons of gifts — a pair of shoes, a polo shirt, a toy bike, and bunch of chocolates. Halvo even tweeted about her. So damn proud of you, girl.

1. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
Right now, I like to live anywhere in the world where there are concerts for like forever. Examples are US of A, Europe, and Australia. Warped Tour, Bamboozle, Coachella, Soundwave, name it… I’ll attend it. There are a lot of things about concerts that I really like — the crowd, the music, the jumping, the moshing, the intense and passionate eye-to-eye contact with your favorite band member… those are the few things I really like to witness. I feel alive whenever I attend a concert.
2. What made you want to start a blog?
I just needed an outlet. That is all. Then I learned about earning money through blogging so tadaaa
3. Who is your biggest inspiration?
Can it be like 5 people? Heh. Charlavail, Jac Vanek, and Nirrimi when it comes to art. Demi Lovato is my spirit animal. And I really admire Emma Watson.
4. Nikon or Canon? Explain why.
I have Nikon right now and I’m happy with it but I think I like Canon more because of the burst of colours.

Jet Lag by Simple Plan because I am currently having a post concert depression lelz. But my forever favorite song is On Top of the World by Boys Like Girls. 5ever.

I hate to say this and I really don’t like Delta (NILEY FOREVZ) but I want to be her so I can be Nick Jonas’ girlfriend (wow, so shallow hahaha)
